Heather Arrington is the Development Manager for newly formed Risen World Technologies, a technology development and transfer company. Leveraging the REBOL platform, Risen World will develop and transfer proprietary technologies to World Class corporations. The first device that will showcase the REBOL technology is Freedom PatchT, a wireless, waterproof, beltless contraction monitoring patch that securely transmits fetal heart rate and contraction data to handheld devices and base monitors.
Heather spent the last four years at Handango, a leading mobile application provider. Heather designed Handango’s content management infrastructure and managed key account such as Microsoft, Dell, Hewlett-Packard, RIM and Verizon.
Risen World Technologies CEO Ron Hicks met Heather on a plane to San Antonio where he demonstrated the REBOL technology. Heather was so taken by REBOL’s amazing power and speed she left her position at Handango to help Ron start Risen World.
